Photo Styling and Social Media Intern

Part or Full Time- School Credit Required

Interested in being part of a fun, exciting, fast-growing company? Anju Jewelry is seeking a Fall student intern for our 2018 program. Must be a creative and highly motivated self starter who's ready to learn the ins and outs of a small wholesale business. Will be working majority in showroom office located downtown at America's Mart and occasionally at home office in Buckhead. Will be providing direct support to marketing and social media director.

 Job Responsibilities

  • Creating content for wholesale and retail emails and scheduling via Mailchimp

  • Assist in product photos and categorization

  • Styling and taking lifestyle photos for IG including flat lay shots and on figure models

  • Writing captions, blog posts, press releases

  • Planning IG feed and story content

  • Compiling jewelry data and making spreadsheets for wholesale site upload

  • Assist in hotspotting wholesale catalog on Brandwise

  • Research influencers to collab and send product to

  • Assist in wholesale and retail site upkeep and updating product selection

 Required Skills

 Photography (white background product shots and on figure lifestyle)

Adobe Programs: Photoshop required, Lightroom, Illustrator or InDesign appreciated

Creative Writing: captions and press releases

Social Media (IG best practices, writing captions, posting)

Photo Styling (will be styling jewelry)

Familiar with MailChimp (or willing to learn)

Tech Savvy: Can pick up on using new websites easily

Fashion Industry Knowledge

Has used Excel

It is important this individual is passionate about the jewelry/fashion industries and is excited about learning the ins and outs of a wholesale business. Must be sophisticated yet creative and able to thrive in a laid back yet fast paced environment.

This is an unpaid internship; however, students will receive college credits and hands-on industry experience. Intern will also have access to the mart during October Apparel Market. Must have a reliable computer and be at least a sophomore in college.

Anticipated start date is October 1st.
